Cesani
The Cesani estate covers an area of about 40 hectares, 26 of which are cultivated with vineyards.
The main products are wine, extra virgin olive oil and saffron.
The first farm complex was bought in 1949 by Vincenzo’s parents, who moved from the Marche region in that year to free themselves from sharecropping.
After graduating from Agricultural School, Vincenzo decided to specialise in viticulture and began bottling his own wine in 1980. Today, the winery is still entirely family run, with Vincenzo’s daughters, Letizia and Marialuisa, having joined the business.
The company, which holds full organic certification, produces wines that are among the finest expressions of the territory’s most traditional Tuscan grape varieties: Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Colorino.
The estate also offers tourist accommodation in comfortable rooms and flats.
