Azienda Agricola Fornacelle, located about 6 km north of the historical town of San Gimignano, has been making wine and extra virgin olive oil for years.
The production of fine wine, including Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Colli Senesi, has always been a priority on our farm. Ours is a family-run business that was established in the mid-1950s after our family moved to Tuscany.
We have ten hectares under cultivation, seven of which are planted with vines, one with olive trees and the rest with woodland.
Fornacelle has been using organic farming techniques since 2014, adopting a philosophy of sustainability.
We renovated our cellar in 2017 to make production more accurate and innovative, while still keeping an eye on tradition.
In 1990, we built a flat with accommodation for four people in a renovated old barn called la Casina. Every year we welcome tourists who enjoy relaxing, the beautiful landscape and, above all, tasting good wine and oil.
